WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS IN A SESSION?

You and your therapist build rapport, look at your situation and symptoms, and make a plan with you to help you feel better. This includes in-session experiences, attention to your body, and tasks you do on your own. You may be asked to provide feedback after each session to guide treatment.

HOW DOES THERAPY HELP IF I CAN'T CHANGE THE PAST?

Agreed. You can't change the past, but you CAN change your relationship to the past. This is the secret to greater wellbeing.
